You are assured of a warm welcome at the Tourist Information Centre where the staff are pleased to help with all queries regarding a visit to Bridgwater and the surrounding area, particularly what to see and do, where to stay and how to get around by road or public transport.

The Guide for Group Operators which gives specific information on attractions, refreshments stops and accomodation for people bringing coach parties or small groups

The centre has a comprehensive display of free literature dealing with:
Attractions such as gardens, wildlife parks, country parks, historic buildings and museums
Activities opportunities including cycling, fishing, riding and walking

For personal callers to the Centere there is a free booking service for serviced and self-catering accomodation, both in Bridgwater and district, and throughout the U.K. (up to 3 days in advance only).

There is a wide range of maps, walk and cycle books and guides for sale. The Centre also sells stamps and phone cards plus a selection of souvenirs and post cards - everything of use for the visitor!
