Built as a bakery in the 15th century, much of the original architecture has been preserved including an entire Tudor room with a rich plastered ceiling and oak
panelled walls. The sixteen bedrooms are furnished in traditional country style, all en-suite with colour TV's and telephones, and of course tea/coffee making facilities.
Carvery is offered as a Sunday Lunch. Conferencing is also available, from 10 to 100 in a theatre style.
Within Bridgwater the Tudor is famous for its restaurant which has a loyal clientele. The generosity of its traditional roasts, steaks, fresh fish and vegetarian dishes, all freshly prepared daily, is only matched by their remarkable value, open every lunchtime and evening. Parking within the hotel courtyard is available and as you would expect from a family business, children are always welcome.
