In our commitment to a service quality system we recognise that people are the key to success.

CUSTOMERS

Always a successful practice, but with historically unstructured management. Who are our customers? Our patients, our staff, external agencies, the NHS, local industry, private medicine. We actively seek new relationships. We now question our service quality; we measure performance; we benchmark standards; we question our customers; we improve our service; we monitor progress.

SUPPLIERS

Historically, we accepted the service we received from our suppliers - and apologised for their failures. We now require a standard of service; we monitor their service; we feedback details of their performance; we demand explanations for failures; we work with them to enhance their service to us. Performance targets are set; we support suppliers in delivering the standards we require.

SOCIETY

Turners has always been a community practice. We now look away from the practice to develop our wider links. We work with low vision groups; train for the RNIB; speak to Business Forums; belong to the local Small Industries Group; work with Business Link, TEC, BS and IiP. We have made a huge investment in resources and plan our activities to have minimal negative environmental impact.
