St. Margaret’s Hospice is very grateful to North Petherton residents for voting for us in the Tesco Bags of Help scheme.  The grant is making it possible to develop ‘community champions’ for the hospice in the North Petherton area – people who understand the activities that the hospice undertakes, who can assist us in dispelling some of the myths and misconceptions about our service, which may prevent residents from taking advantage of our free service.
You are invited to join us at our free Coffee Morning, where you will hear from our guest speaker, James Morrow about the service that he and his family received from the Hospice, plus a short presentation from our clinical staff, about the many services we provide, including our ‘Hospice at Home’ work. Find out how our wonderful volunteers help us, from offering as little as just an hour of their time a year, having a home collecting pot, or joining their local community fundraising group, which assists us raise the £26,000 daily that we need to keep our services available to the Somerset Community.
