Charity 10K Walk in aid of St Margaret’s Hospice sponsored by Rotec Hydraulics.
Join an army of supporters on Sunday 25th June and complete a 10km charity walk around Taunton before finishing at the Somerset County Ground to watch day One of the County Championship match between Somerset and Nottinghamshire.
Included in your ticket cost you will receive:
- The Big Somerset Cricket Bash event T-shirt
- Bacon sandwich (or vegetarian substitute)
- Fully marshalled 10km route
- Ticket to watch Day One of Somerset vs Nottinghamshire.

1.00pm to 5.00pm | Glorious Open Gardens 2023 – Barrington Village
As part of St Margaret’s Glorious Somerset Garden Season, several delightful gardens in the village of Barrington TA19 0JB will be open to the public on Saturday 1st July 2023.
It’s Barrington Day! Much more will be taking place in the village, including a flower festival in St Mary’s church.
Barrington village is located on the southern edge of the Somerset Levels 10 miles southeast of Taunton and 10 miles west of Yeovil and many of the houses are built from cob and thatched with local reeds.
Enjoy visiting some of our lovely gardens and walking around our pretty village enjoying the entertainment on offer. Gardens of all types and sizes will be open to explore and, for the first time, the village allotments.
Refreshments and toilet facilities will be available. Please note however that some of the gardens are not accessible by wheelchairs and pushchairs. No dogs please.
