Secret World's Wild Academy: Animal Detective School (junior)

Ages 6 – 10      £5 per child (parents must accompany children)

It’s a wild world out there! Our native wildlife can be secretive meaning finding them in their wild habitat is a little tricky at times. This session will equip you will all the skills you need to be able to find signs of wildlife in your neighbourhood. By the end of the session you’ll be able to identify a range of British wildlife on sight, find tracks and signs of wild activity and complete a mini survey of your local patch to see who lives there. We’ll be spending some time outdoors today so dress for the weather (water to drink, wellies and coats/sun cream are recommended)

Secret World's Wild Academy: Poo Party

Ages 6-10       £5 per child (parents must accompany children)

Here at Secret World we love animal poo. Poo can be really useful in our wildlife hospital as we can check on an animal’s health by studying their droppings. Poo identification skills are also really useful out in the wild as they may be the only sign of animal activity that you can find when out in your local wild patch. Join us this session to find out about food chains, animal digestion and most importantly of all – whose poo is whose!
