| Sat 28 August - Mon 30 August | Axbridge Pageant Axbridge Pageant returns in 2010, with 3 performances over the August Bank Holiday weekend. Our Pageant is a significant historical event and is only performed every 10 years. Every time it develops from the last. It is a community event where many people from our town contribute to a dramatic historical timeline of Axbridge from its Saxon origins to the present day. Two new scenes, to include earlier Axbridge history & the 21st Century. The medieval square, the centre of Axbridge life, is a perfect setting for this rare and unique event. Come and join our celebration of our rich history. Various other events will coincide with the 2010 Pageant to make Axbridge Pageant Festival a weekend of celebration.
