An exhibition about the THE BRIDGWATER FAIR and Markets will be on showon the following dates and times:-

Saturdays until and including 31 March, then daily Tuesday –
Saturday to 14 April from 10.00am-4.00pm.
It will be open for the whole of the schools' spring half-term holiday,
from Monday 13 February to Saturday 18 February, inclusiv.

Sat 11 February - Sun 12 FebruaryCharterhouse Automobilia Auction

The Footman James Ford Show and The Great Western Autojumble take place on Saturday February 11th and Sunday 12th 2012 at The Royal Bath & WestShowground, Shepton Mallet and they will attract 6,000+ classic car and Ford enthusiasts over the weekend.
In the Classic cars auction there is an almost one lady owner from new, the Alfa Romeo P2 clockwork racing car with a guide price of £1,200-1,800.  Click here to view the full details.  Also there is a Triumph TR3a which is just one of the star cars in todays auction of classic cars. Mon 13 February - Sat 18 FebruaryHalf-Term Holiday Exhibition

Bridgwater's Blake Museum. If you are looking for something different to do this coming half term then why not pay a visit to the Bridgwater Blake Museum. The museum will be taking a break from its winter closure and will be open for the whole of the schools' spring half-term holiday from Monday 13th February to Saturday 18th February inclusive.
Volunteers have been working hard to put together new displays, especially in the Battle Room, from Alfred the Great to World War 2. With new display cases and room rearrangement, this has allowed even more artefacts to be put on display than ever before. And don’t forget, Entrance is Free.

Charity Bridge Day

Arthritis Research UK is holding a Charity Bridge Day.  The doors will open at 10.30am and Bridge will start at 11.00am. It costs just £30 per pair and includes coffee, lunch and tea and there is a bar available.
Arthritis Research UK is the 4th largest medical research charity in the UK and the only charity funding research into all types of arthritis. Arthritis is the biggest cause of pain and disability in the UK it rarely kills people but can take away their lives. 1 in 6 of the UK population suffers from arthritis which includes 15,000 children and adolescents. Our charity is working to take the pain away for these sufferers of
Arthritis and help people to remain active, by funding world class research and providing support and information.

We would like to invite you to a very special evening with Michael Collins.  Indisputably one of the leading clarinettists of his generation, Michael will be sharing his inspirational life story. His dazzling virtuosity and sensitive musicianship have made him one of today's most sought-after soloists.
